A technologically advanced filter used for the whole home that removes particles down to the 0.2 microns while allowing high flow rates. NanoCeram combines high efficiency, high capacity, and high flow rates (up to 35 gpm) unlike porous membrane technology. It uses a new technology that thermally bonds microglass fibers and cellulous, infused with a nano-alumina fiber , to create an electro-positively charged filter media. The filter prevents bacterial growth downstream in your family's water. STAGE 2 - PELLETIZED CARBON DuPure is proud to introduce this all new pelletized carbon. This anthracite, coal based carbon is extremely dense and provides very clean water in your home. It has a high surface area with excellent pore volume, yielding more cleaning capacity. It gives you the cleaning benefits of carbon block, with high flow rates of granulated carbon (20 gpm). STAGE 3 - SCALESTOPPER ™ The NEXT Generation in water treatment media. This revolutionary, new, long lasting media eliminates scale formation on plumbing surfaces while maintaining essential minerals in your drinking water. It does not use salt, waste water or electricity like convential softeners. The media uses Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC) technology, which results in the creation of microscopic seed crystals and eliminates the minerals' ability to attach to the surface of your plubming fixtures.
