Media Shield…Taking Out the Chlorine!

If you have been considering a water softening system you may not have heard that chlorine breaks down the petroleum resins within them. Unfortunately, many of our competitors would prefer to keep you in the dark about that critical piece of information. For them, it means replacing your system every few years or having to re-bed the degrading resins within the system at a cost of $800-$1,000 per event.

Our Media Shield can remove up to 99% of water-soluble lead, mercury, nickel, chromium, and other dissolved heavy metals. It is also effective in controlling the buildup of bacteria, algae, fungi and scale. This makes it ideal for use in carbon beds, ion exchange resins, carbon block filters and inline carbon filters. Wherever the Media Shield is used, it helps eliminate the need for costly, and sometimes harmful, chemical treatments.
